Daniel Silva Guzmán, Attorney at Law - Associate, Tax & Legal Chile Ltda. Mr. Silva finished his high school education at Soddy Daisy High School, Tennessee, EE.UU. Graduated (LL.B.) from the School of Law, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. He has more than 10 years of experience as General Counselor, working on projects with the most important international and local corporations.

He holds an Executive Master Degree in Tax Planning and Tax Management for CPAs at the Universidad Tecnológica Metropolitana - UTEM, where he scored first of the class.

Prior to TAX & LEGAL CHILE, he was partner of "Matte, Barayón y Asociados", working in the Corporate area. During 1998-2000, he was with the Law Firm "Philippi, Yrarrázaval, Pulido & Brünner". Before that, he was a General Counselor at Lan-Chile (Local Airline Company), at the Cargo Holding.

He has taken part in important projects advising and representing multinational and local companies such as Avaya, Bank of Nova Scotia, Methanex, Xerox, Duke Energy, Grupo Dragados, Procter & Gamble, and many others, on corporate matters, arbitrations, negotiations, Public Tender of Shares and ADRs of important Corporations. He has relevant experience in Foreign Investments, Foreign Exchange Regulations, and Central Bank Regulations, and Immigration. His experience includes four weeks with "Lovel, White & Durrant" in London. He is currently Professor of the Post-graduate Program in Taxation at UTEM (Universidad Tenológica Metropolitana)..
